What we do
We are a UC Berkeley administrative region providing support in the areas of Research Administration, Human Resources and Academic Personnel Support, and Purchasing and Reimbursements. We strive to reduce the administrative burden to ensure that faculty can focus on research and academic enterprise.
Whom we serve
We provide services to the faculty and staff and student employees at the College of Chemistry, the Division of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Space Science Laboratory, and affiliated research centers.
Whom we work with
ChaMPS partners with faculty, department staff, student employees, and central campus units such as Berkeley Regional Services (BRS) and the Vice Chancellor Administration (VCA).
ChaMPS Mission
The ChaMPS region provides quality administrative support to faculty, researchers, staff, and students in support of the University of California's missions of teaching, research and public service.
